My kids are very picky when it comes to vitamins. I have tried the organic vitamins–they hated those and I thought they were disgusting also, we have tried the flinstone-type vitamins and they don’t really like those. I decided to give these a try and they love them–all 4 of my kids love them. Here is what I like about them–1. My kids eat them and because they like them, don’t forget to take their vitamin daily. 2. They only have to take 1 vitamin–a lot of the kids vitamins have them taking 2 vitamins daily and I don’t like that. 3. This vitamin is pretty comprehensive and is a good supplement for my children. 4. The price is pretty good–considering there are 120 vitamins and you only have to take one daily, that is not too bad.
The one complaint I have and it is minor is that the first ingredient on the ingredient list is sugar. We try to eat on the healthier side, so I don’t like my kids to have a lot of sugar, but I also recognize, that when I have bought vitamins with no sugar, no one eats them.
Overall, this is a good vitamin for kids and we are happy with it!
I got the Women’s Multivitamin Gummies by the same brand earlier, and liked them, so I decided to try the Kid’s version. It’s exactly the same: same bottle, same gummy bear shape, same pink color, same strawberry candy flavor, same sparkling sugar crystals, and the same amounts of all the same vitamins. The only difference is that the Women’s version says to take two a day and the Kid’s version says to take one a day. As one of my kids is now bigger than me, I think it should be fine if she takes two a day like a grownup. There aren’t excessively high levels of any vitamins in these gummies, so there’s no need to fear overdosing if big kids take two. Then again, there’s no need to take two if you’re also eating real food.
However they’re marketed, these gummies have a nice assortment of nutrients, and they’re delicious. Everyone in my family enjoys their strawberry candy flavor.
These small sugar coated gummies are a hit with our two toddlers – they are small enough for their little mouths to chew, and the sugar coating tempts their palate. It would be nice if there was a variety of flavors, but these all appear to be the same off-color orange-brown. However, this is not enough to detract for the overall satisfaction from these tasty little gummies (and yes of course I had to taste them as well – for quality control purposes, of course). The price is a bit more than I pay for our regular children’s gummy vitamins, but the bottle contains 120 which is a four month supply, so it about evens out in the long run.
