I’m generally pleased with this probiotic. It has a good potency level, with each capsule providing 20 billion CFUs (with a suggested dosage of 2 caps per day for a total of 40 billion CFUs). It is lacking a bit in terms of strain diversity. It provides only 4 strains (3 Lactobacillus strains and Bifidobacterium Lactis) which is rather limited compared with other probiotics that typically offer 8+ strains. It does list the specific strains on the label, but does not indicate the strength of each one.
Despite the limited strains it’s performed well for me. There’s been minimal side effects (gas) initially, and it cleared up pretty quickly. The capsules are easy to take. It is shelf stable, but as with any probiotic, storing it in the refrigerator helps maintain the potency level.
The price is reasonable for a 1 month supply and it has a good shelf life — the bottle I received in January 2021 has a use-by date of March 2022. A decent performer and a decent value.
Ingredients are the first thing I consider when choosing probiotics and other supplements, and capsule size is also important to me. As far as the ingredients, it is a great combination and I especially like that this probiotic includes Marine Polysaccharides. These polysaccharides have many benefits such as anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antiviral, antiallergic, and more. My digestive system feels better when taking these and that’s what counts. As far as capsule size, it always makes me happy when the capsules are an easy–to-swallow size as these are. Last, I do not notice any smell or odor coming from these, so it’s all good and the price is right.
This is a month’s worth of probiotics at 40 billion CFUs per two capsules a day. I find that taking a capsule twice a day works very well in my system. It tends to clear up the morning issues and then clean up the afternoon issues to keep my system balanced throughout the day. My body welcomes this supplement and I will purchase again. I recommend probiotics to everyone as our bodies work hard for us and probiotics tend to keep us in tune.
